Punjab FC (PFC) has announced the appointment of Panagiotis Dilmperis as their head coach for the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season. Konstantinos Katsaras will be his assistant coach. Papaioannou Ioannis will be Dilmperis’s strength and conditioning coach. This new coaching team brings a wealth of expertise to PFC. Panagiotis Dilmperis has a robust 15-year coaching experience. He joins Punjab FC after a successful tenure as the head coach of A. E Ermionida FC. His coaching journey has seen him at the helm of several notable teams, including Iraklis Larisas FC, Rochester NY FC, and Panserraikos FC. Before transitioning to coaching, Dilmperis had a distinguished 17-year goalkeeping career. He has played at Iraklis FC and Agrotikos Asteras. Such an experience as a player and coach equips him with an understanding of the game. This can be crucial for leading Punjab FC in the upcoming season.

Assistant Coach Konstantinos Katsaras brings over 20 years of coaching experience. He primarily gained it across various clubs in Greece. His background will complement Dilmperis’s strategies and enhance the team’s dynamics. Papaioannou Ioannis, with over a decade of experience as a strength and conditioning coach, will focus on optimising the players’ fitness.
